The BBQ Institute of Advanced Science & Technology (Instytut Zaawansowanych Badań BBQ) is an academic research institution established to conduct cutting-edge fundamental research in artificial intelligence theory, quantum algorithms, high-performance systems, and computational biology.
Located within Warsaw's Ochota Science Campus at the Centrum Nowych Technologii (CeNT), the Institute provides an environment where mathematicians, theoretical computer scientists, and software systems engineers collaborate on foundational problems in computing.

Doctoral School & Researcher Training
The BBQ Doctoral School offers a 4-year structured doctoral programme in Computer Science and Quantum Information. Doctoral researchers receive competitive stipends, individual research allowances, and access to the CeNT supercomputing cluster. Joint doctoral mentorship is conducted in partnership with leading European universities.

Campus & Computational Facilities
The Institute is situated at ul. Stanisława Pasteura 5, 02-093 Warszawa. Our research groups share modern laboratory spaces, an optical motion-capture robotics testbed, and direct high-speed fibre connections (100 Gbps) to the national PIONIER research network and PL-Grid supercomputing infrastructure.
